Big Rock Equipment is a global supplier of mining equipment and engineered components, providing solutions for crushing, milling, and mineral processing operations. Founded by Glenn Wightman in 2004, the company began as a technical consulting practice supporting crusher and mill installations, rebuilds, and field service projects. With extensive experience from Svedala and Metso Minerals, Glenn and Shawn Wightman expanded the company's capabilities and international presence.

In 2013, Big Rock established a strategic partnership to develop a dedicated manufacturing facility in China, creating an overseas factory to support global operations. This transition marked Big Rock's evolution from consulting into full equipment manufacturing, integrating engineering expertise with precision production to serve the global mining industry.
